The publicity that follows being a finalist or winner provides exposure throughout the community that can boost their business - it's a very practical gift.
Time is running out to nominate outstanding businesses in the 2021 Southern Highlands Local Business Awards.
Nominations close on Thursday June 10.
Precedent Productions Managing Director (and Local Business Awards founder) Steve Loe, said the huge number of nominations had already poured in for this year's awards.
"It just proves what enormous support there is for local businesses in the Southern Highlands area," he said.
"People shouldn't underestimate just how much simply being nominated for an award means to business people.
"Every finalist in the Local Business Awards receives a certificate, while category winners receive a trophy.
"I'm always thrilled to see our finalists and winners display their certificates and awards proudly in their stores and offices. Some have told me that customers have chosen their business because they have seen that they are award-winning.
"This proves the important and positive impact that nominating a business for these awards can have."
The awards are only possible thanks to the support of major partners: NOVA Employment and Flower Flower and support partners, Wingecarribee Shire Council and White Key Marketing.
