Scott came on the 68th minute in the Bulls' 0-0 draw with Perth Glory at HBF Park to mark his debut with the Macarthur side.
Having previously played for Glory and Wellington Phoenix, the defender said it was nice to have worked hard for his debut.
"We have a strong squad and there's a couple of boys ahead of me so it was a process and it was nice to get those minutes and contribute to what was, in the end, a good result.
"The first half maybe we should have put away some chances when we were on top but in the second half Perth were on top with the attack that they have.
"I was happy to come on at a ground that I've played at previously against people that I know well and have an impact on the result and come away with a point."
It's been a long road for the 21-year old but Scott firmly believes he has found his home in Macarthur, a mere 30 minutes from where his journey began two decades ago.
"I'm very happy here," he said.
"I've got extended family around, I was born in Bowral, my grandma's in Goulburn and I've got aunties and uncles in the country, in Bathurst and Orange and all through Sydney so I'm comfortable.
"It's a strong squad with a great coaching staff and I would definitely like to be able to solidify myself a little bit more. It's been tough being at two other clubs and not really being able to set my feet but it's part of the process of being a footballer in this league.
"Sometimes the opportunities are few and far between and I just have to make sure I take them. It's a great professional environment I'm benefiting from, adding stuff to my game and I would like to continue here."
Despite moving to Perth as a child, Scott hasn't forgotten his Highlands roots.
"I've been back here numerous times, it's a beautiful part of the world. I'm very lucky to have been born there.
"I love telling people that I was born across the road from Bradman Oval and always have a great time when visiting grandma, it's a great meeting point halfway!"
