Bowral manager Mark Wilson said the main result was Bowral not falling out of Grade 2 and with one game to play Bowral are now safe from relegation after their 64-58 win at Bowral Bowling Club.

It was a stunning victory for Bowral after eight ends with tight bowls from both sides and the scores locked at 7-7.
Bowral was hopeful they could match their opponents and when teamwork was required they delivered.
With two ends to play Bowral had a 20-17 lead and in the last two ends they did nothing wrong to win by eight shots.

When the first half of the match was completed it was an extremely tight battle with Bowral holding a slender lead 10-8.
Skipper Woodcock is a dynamic player and leader and he urged his team on as they won the next five ends. The match was decided on the 16th end when Bowral picked up five shots to lead 20-8.
Having established a lead this held them in good stead when Blacktown made a late rally to narrow the gap with Bowral holding on for a six shot win.

This was a tricky match to work out with Bowral turning what looked like certain victory into defeat.
Bowral was allowed to dictate the play for the first eight ends, leaping to a massive 14-1 lead.
It all came to an end after that however with Blacktown taking the lead on the 14th end, 15-14.
Bowral scored three shots on the 15th end to go to a 17-15 lead but Blacktown came home the stronger to win by eight in what was a great 13-shot comeback.
