According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare 2018 publication, as a nation; one in six women and one in 16 men experience physical and /or sexual violence by a current or previous partner, one in four women and one in six men have experienced emotional abuse by a current or previous partner and one in five women and one in 20 men have been sexually assaulted and or threatened.
The golf day will involve teams of four players playing ambrose and will be on Sunday May 2 in order to raise awareness about the issue of domestic and family violence.

All monies raised on the day will stay within the local community assisting those experiencing domestic and family violence.
