And the result could be either satisfaction, disappointment or anything between those two extremes.
There is a risk factor and that risk factor is used by many as a deterrent; an excuse.
The good news is that change isn't mandatory. If we're complete and content where we are there's no need to alter our situation nor is there any motivation.
What's needed though is the courage to take a long, hard look at ourselves.
But self-assessment takes raw honesty.
The opinions of others matters little to those who are set in their ways. And change merely for the sake of change ... change without personal commitment ... is both pointless and useless.
Forced change is fleeting. Change is very much a matter of choice. The bottom line is that there is no such thing as perfection. There's always room for improvement.
Everyone is capable of greater things. The potential lies within us all.
It comes down to a matter of satisfaction.

If we feel that there's more we can do, more we can achieve, more we can offer, more that we can be then it makes sense to work on the resources both around us and within us to achieve that.
