Grade 2
Bowral has reached fourth position on the table after being bottom, largely due to a big win at Blacktown before the Easter break. The team's main aim will now be to try and avoid relegation.
In the first round, Bowral adopted a more cautious approach. In my opinion, they have to attack the head more to be winners.

- Bowral 20

Grade 6
It has been a very disappointing season so for Bowral's Grade Six team, which lies at the bottom of the table. With four players who played first grade last year coming back to the side, Bowral was expected to be in a better position. Instead, they have struggled to find form.
Let's hope the sides can discover better cooperation in the second half of the season.

Easter Cup
Ted McPhee, Terry Norwood, Peter Morales, and Chris Forrester defeated Andy Connor, Jim Starkey, Steve Day, and Robin Staples, 18-17, to win the Easter Cup.
Team Forrester absolutely blitzed Team Staples in the early part of the match, playing a good selection of shots as they went to a 11-2 lead after seven ends.
Team Staples, stung by Team Forrester's start, then started to play some big shots and fought back well to only trail 13-12 after 15 ends.
There were plenty of chances by both sides with some excellent shots played over the remaining six ends, but it was team Forrester who got the last drop out of the match to hang on for a one-shot win.
Other Results
Neville Tanner and Colin Stone defeated K. Henshaw and Viv Gear 28-13. John Fleming, Paul McInerney, and Bob Edwards played out a draw against Joe O'Donnell, Richard Denman, and Bob Crowley 20-20. Kel Limbrick, Glen Giese, and Don Chapman defeated Barry Werfel, Ken Looke, and Gordon Lewis 22-11. Lawrence Vipond, Keith Edwards, and Eric Willacy defeated Paul Rubie, Bill Pope, and John Cummins 20-14.
