Comedy for A Cause

Discover which books brought about social, political, racial, sexual and literary change? Find out how fiction and imagined characters have altered the world for the better, and the worse.
Jive Bombers
- Saturday April 17, 2021, Moss Vale Services Club, 2 pm - 4 pm
Formed in 1985 the Jive Bombers have been performing constantly all around Australia at music festivals, clubs and functions. They have won prestigious music awards for both jazz (APRA music awards 2001) and rock n roll (Wintersun Festival 2002) and have gained praise as one of the finest bands in the country.
Southern Highlands Concert Band
- Sunday April 18, 2021, Moss Vale Services Club, 2 pm - 4 pm
The Southern Highlands Concert Band is pleased to present a celebration of marching music in March Mania and More.
The capacity of music to inspire humans to astonishing feats is best exemplified in the power of march tunes. This concert will present a number of exciting examples from John Williams to the River Kwai. These will be presented within the band's usual eclectic mix to ensure a fun-filled afternoon for everyone.
Unfortunately, Covid regulations will require you to remain seated during this concert.

Inspector Alex Fooks and Aged Rights Services Manager Margaret Crothers will run each group through Seniors Safety, how to avoid scams and fraud, your rights and who can advocate for you.
Rapunzels Party
- Saturday April 24, 2021, The Venue Bowral, 1 pm - 3 pm
Back by popular demand, Rapunzel's Party are Helen Archer, Louise Bell, Olive Brennan, Geralyn Cheers, Marita Luck and Glenys Trouncer.
These versatile women play guitars, flutes, harp, bass and percussion with passion and sensitivity.
Always warmly received, the talented group of six women offers heartfelt and dynamic songs, irresistible rhythms and soaring vocal harmonies.
With an enchanting blend of styles including A cappella, celtic, folk rock and world music, they entertain with unique interpretations of songs from many sources as well as creative original compositions.
