The Extraordinary Meeting is being held to consider correspondence council received on March 3, 2021 from the Minister for Local Government, the Hon Shelley Hancock MP regarding her notice of intention to suspend Wingecarribee Shire Council for three months and appoint an interim administrator.
As per the correspondence, council has seven days to make a submission with respect to the proposed suspension of council.
Council will consider how it will respond to the Minister at this Extraordinary Meeting.
The meeting will be held from 4.00pm on Tuesday March 9, 2021 in the Moss Vale Council Chambers and live-streamed via council's website at www.wsc.nsw.gov.au.
