The crunch of the matter is that a week before Christmas a heavy storm hit Bowral when work had commenced on the green.
Another challenge has been the cold weather We have experienced this Summer.
Weather conditions have also been below optium also the white carrella attacks have not been helpful
Bowral first grade side will now have to play their first three pennant games away from home.
Woodcock has stated he will continue to look to some warm and consistent weather conditions which we have lacked through the Summer.
Regarding pennant play, the synthetic green will be available for the grade 6 and 7 players from the first week in March which was also affected by the storm putting bowls out of action for many weeks.
Restoration works will take place on the synthetic green in May and June, so bowlers can expect more disturbance to the bowls calendar.
