There is little doubt that the Southern Highlands great outdoors has much to offer. It would appear that even the trees are smiling - well at least one tree.
Berrima youngsters Eliza, 6 and Christopher, 4, love looking out for one particular tree that has the outline of a face in its natural form.
Located on the side of Wombeyan Caves Road, High Range, this gum tree recently took on a dramatic change with what is best described as a little bush art.
Eliza and Christopher were excited to see that the tree had not only shed its bark, it had also taken on a colourful new look sporting black eyelashes, blue eyes, a nose and bright red lips.
It was the perfect picture opportunity for their mum, Tanya Galwey who is a keen photographer. And of course the ever-photogenic Eliza and Christopher were keen to be snapped with the happy gum tree.
