Subdivision in Robertson
An application to subdivide land in Robertson will be put before councillors.
The development proposes a 13-lot Community Title Subdivision at 25-29 North street, Robertson. The lot is 11,336.3 metres squared.
A proposed subdivision on the site was first made in 1991 which sought to divide the land into five allotments.
The consent for subdivision of the subject site into five allotments is still considered valid as physical work was undertaken to extend the water main to the site.
The application was initially approved on December 19, 1991 and subsequently amended a number of times. The last amendment occurred on July 7,1998. At this time, Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan 1989 was in force, and the proposed subdivision complied with the minimum lot size under that Plan of 2,000m.
The current DA was submitted on August 31, 2020. The proposed development is for a Community Title Subdivision comprising a total of 13 lots including one community which is to include a 100m biofiltration facility referred to as a "raingarden". The rest of the lots will be residential.
