Inquiries are continuing after police uncovered a hydroponic cannabis crop worth $13 million on a property in Bargo.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command investigating the cultivation of cannabis in Sydney's south-west, executed a search warrant at a property on Remembrance Drive about 4.30pm on December 21.
A police guard was posted on the property overnight before officers returned to the scene on December 22, seizing 4324 cannabis plants.

The plants ranged in size from seedlings to mature plants and were being cultivated in 16 large greenhouses and work-site offices; police also seized two shotguns.
There was no-one at the property when police arrived and inquiries are continuing to identify those responsible.
