Detectives have laid further charges against a teacher over the alleged sexual touching and indecent assault of four students.

In December 2019, detectives from the State Crime Command's Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad commenced an investigation into reports a 13-year-old girl had been sexually touched by a man known to her.
Following extensive inquiries, a 63-year-old man was arrested at a home in the Southern Highlands just after 8.30am on January 24, 2020. He was charged and remains before the courts.

Following further inquiries, police received information relating to the alleged indecent assault of four 12-year-old girls, who were also known to the man.
As part of ongoing investigations, officers arrested a man - now aged 64 - at Moss Vale Police Station on December 18.
The man was charged with intentionally sexually touch child (between 10 and 16 years), three counts of indecent assault person under 16 years of age and three counts of common assault.
He appeared at Moss Vale Local Court the same day, where he was granted strict conditional bail to reappear at Campbelltown Local Court on December 23.
Investigations are continuing.
The Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad is comprised of detectives who are specially trained to investigate matters against children and adults, including sexual assault, serious physical abuse, and extreme cases of neglect.
