To celebrate, the local community is invited to come along and participate in the festivities including a guest appearance from Paw Patrol, balloon art, games, giveaways and a free sausage sizzle and coffee cart.
The Spotlight store will cover an area of 1768 square metres, serving the local community as the go-to destination for homewares and DIY materials, ranging across party, kitchen and dining, lounge and bedroom, craft and sew, hobby and art, and bathroom and laundry.

Spotlight Mittagong store manager Bonnie Wilson said that the brand new store would bring some exciting opportunities for the community.
"Our new store will provide over 24 locals with full time, part time and casual roles, with the majority of them from the Mittagong community and surrounds," Bonnie said.
"At Spotlight, we're all about encouraging our customers to create, decorate and celebrate in their homes and we can't wait to help Highlands locals with all of their creative needs, especially as we head into the festive season."
Spotlight is a family-owned and operated Australian business with stores throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
The brand employs more than 7000 people trained to provide high-quality service and expertise in fabrics, craft and homewares.
The mittagong store opening celebrations will kick off at 7.45am with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the store to open at 8am.
There will be free pillow giveaways for the first 100 customers.
