With strong winds expected to continue for Tuesday, December 1, Goulburn SES unit controller Daryl Skinner implored for people to remain safe after a busy weekend.
"There were eleven jobs on Sunday, November 29," Skinner said.
"Most were trees down. There were also two roof jobs. They were completed between the hours of 9:00am to 4pm.
"There was also a call out on Monday, November 30 for strong winds."
Wingecarribee Unit SES member, Dylan Whitelaw said power lines came down in Bowral over the weekend.
"A very large tree from Corbett Gardens came down and took power lines along with it," Whitelaw said.
"It took about an hour and a half to two hours for crews to make the area safe. The power lines were sparking on the roundabout.
"A severe thunderstorm warning from the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has been issued for most of NSW for Tuesday, December 1.
"A severe impact looks like it will hit the Southern Tablelands area.
"It's looking to hit Goulburn and also touch on the Wingecarribee area as well.
"We're preparing for severe thunder storms if they do eventuate.
"We ask residents to make sure they're not parking their cars under trees and park them indoors.
"All property outside the home should be secured down such as: trampolines, outdoor furniture settings so they don't blow about and end up in the next door neighbour's yard."
Bowral will look to be partly cloudy with a slight (30%) chance of a gusty shower or thunderstorm this afternoon or evening, possibly severe.
Winds northwest to northeasterly 20 to 25 km/h becoming light in the late evening.
Bowral will top the mercury at 32 degrees.
Goulburn will have a top of 36 degrees and will be mostly sunny in the morning.
There will be a medium (40%) chance of showers during the afternoon and early evening.
The chance of a gusty thunderstorm, possibly severe, in the afternoon and early evening.
Winds northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h shifting west to northwesterly 35 to 50 km/h in the early afternoon then decreasing to 20 to 25 km/h in the evening.
