Fuel prices have remained relatively stable in the Highlands, with an average of 116.3 cents per litre for petrol in Mittagong and 118.1 cents per litre in Moss Vale.
However, fuel prices in Sydney have reached 130.6 cents per litre.
It's a small relief for motorists in the Highlands who have been hit hard at the bowsers in the past.
However, it's not all good news for those who fuel up with diesel.
Diesel prices are 118.1 cents per litre in Mittagong and 122.1 cents per litre in Moss Vale, while the average price of diesel in Sydney is slightly lower at 115.8 cents per litre.
Prices are expected to fall in the next two to three weeks, just in time for Christmas.
