Furey Theatre Company will bring this iconic and beloved musical to life on stage in the Highlands this year.
Rehearsals are already well under way and director Andrew Doyle said he was having "the time of my life" working on such a fun production.
Opening night will be on December 10, with the show held at Clubbe Hall, Frensham.
With capacity now at 50 per cent, Andrew said he hoped restrictions might ease again before the show began and allow for a bigger audience.
"We're well positioned to have great audiences and hopefully a great show.
"People are just going to be blown away by the standard of the show and showcasing what extraordinary talent is here."
While Covid has put a stop to many productions this year, he said they had been lucky with their timing, with the show always planned for December.
There won't be many who have not seen either the stage show or the movie but for those very few, Andrew said he wanted to focus on telling the story behind the musical.
"Everyone knows the movie and that's the challenge you have. Everyone comes along and they base everyone against who's doing Meryl Streep or Colin Firth's part. It's very different to a movie, a stage show.
"We've put a few interesting, different and fun things in and dropped a couple of songs. The one thing that gets missed in this, it's all about the ABBA songs and so the story, which is a really cool story gets lost.
"I really want to be able to tell a good and interesting story. For people that haven't seen [it before] I want to make the revelations in the stage show really interesting so they're like 'I never saw that coming'."
Andrew has had plenty of experience in theatre, working as an actor, singer and director for 30 years.
"I've watched a lot of local theatre down here and was missing being part of the creative world."
