It's been another strong year by former Highlander Chelsea Lenarduzzi.
The Brisbane Broncos forward was again part of the premiership winning side that defeated the Sydney Roosters in Sunday's NRLW grand final.
And to make the win even sweeter, Lenarduzzi crashed over the line to score for Brisbane in her team's 20-10 victory.
"I was very pumped," she said.
And once again Lenarduzzi has been rewarded for her good form with an Origin call up.
While the NRLW season may be over, she said players still had to isolate for 14 days.
She will now spend that time in Origin camp, getting ready for the match on Friday, November 13.
It will be a long camp, with players coming together for more than two weeks, but Lenarduzzi said she hoped the extra time would prove a positive.
"We'll come together, hopefully get some combinations going and perform well on the night."
She said this year's Queensland Origin squad would look different to previous years, with some "younger girls coming through".
"We've got a few girls debuting and some coming back into the team that will definitely be valuable for the squad. They're [NSW] a really tough team."
