Wednesday, October 14 at Bowral Bowling Club saw the old saying be true, "Beware the under dog."
Day and Willacy went into this match as warm favourites.
The start of this match saw Williams and Morales relentless in their play going on the attack. And when needed, playing very good draw shots.
After seven ends they had shot to a 10-0 lead.
"Getting away" to such a start it had put Day and Willacy on the back foot.
When the half way mark of 11 ends was reached Williams and Morales still had a 11-6 lead.
After 18 ends Williams and Morales who had made a impact from the start still had a winning 20-14 lead.
With three ends to play day and Willacy came home the stronger, winning the last three ends picking up four shots.
But, at the finish Williams and Morales held on to a well earned win with their drawing shots winning the day.
