Works will be carried out on the southern side of the intersection between 7 pm and 5 am.
The Bowral Road Sewer Main Renewal Project is part of Wingecarribee Shire Council's annual renewal program and involves replacing 550 metres of the old vitrified clay sewer main pipe, located between Sedgman Avenue and Bessemer Street, with new polyethylene pipe.
Road users and pedestrians are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when travelling through the construction zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.
Works will be undertaken by specialist contractor Carve Earthworks and Construction Pty Ltd.
Businesses and residents have been notified by letterbox drop. Signage will also be erected and traffic controllers will be stationed on site to manage traffic during work hours.
Council thanks motorists in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any temporary delays or inconvenience.
For further information contact council's operations project engineer John Booker on phone 4868 0888.
