National Police Remembrance Day services were held at both the Southern Highlands Police Station and Goulburn Police Station on Tuesday, September 29.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions related to gatherings, the events were smaller than in previous years. However the services were still just as meaningful.
Police chaplain Reverend Geoff Webb led the prayers, while officers made speeches.
There was a valedictory for NSW Constable Aaron David Vidal as well as Victorian Leading Senior Constable Lynette Rosemary Taylor, Senior Constable Kevin Neil King, Constable Glen Andrew Humphris and Constable Joshua Andrew Prestney.
Police also honoured the fallen officers with the Hume Police District who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the execution of their duties. Their names are as follows:
