The Bowral-based op shop will reopen to the public from October 3.

This comes more than six months after the doors were closed on March 13 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions.

Located in Bundaroo Street, Bowral, the op shop specialises in the sale of pre-loved clothes, books, small items of furniture and collectibles and aims to raise funds for the ongoing work of Fr Riley's Youth Off The Streets program.

Joint co-ordinator of the op shop Susie Burnard said the reopening was made possible through the support of the charity's dedicated volunteers.

The shop will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of each week from 9.30-4pm, Wednesdays from 10am-3pm and Saturdays from 9.30am to 1pm.

"We are very much looking forward to seeing our wonderful customers again," Ms Burnard said.

"We will be reopening with a sale on winter clothing and then look forward to stocking the shop with summer wear.

"It is amazing to welcome back our dedicated volunteers - we can't thank them enough as they make it all possible."

Ms Burnard said the shop would be working with a Covid Safety Plan to protect both customers and volunteers.

"We are pleased to announce that we will also be accepting clean and saleable donations, but please check with a volunteer at the shop before donating your goods," she said.
