Looks bare and unattended; there is already an oval etc and this land could be put to better use and named after him anyway?

Re Cricket pitch linked to the late Sir Donald Bradman under threat of development (SHN September 19). If the Wingacarribee Shire Council really thought that the Edward Street cricket pitch had heritage importance why did they not record this heritage importance on the properties 149 certificate?
And list it on the heritage register?
That way no developer would have bought it in the first place.
