The road will be closed in both directions for slope stablisation work and guardrail repair following damage caused by recent rainfall.
Work will be carried out for five nights between 8pm and 5am from Sunday, September 20 to Thursday, September 24, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised Jamberoo Mountain Road is also closed as a result of recent rainfall.
All vehicles will be detoured via the Hume Highway, Picton Road and the M1 Princes Motorway and motorists should allow an additional 30 minutes travel time between the Hume Motorway and Albion Park.
