The inspiring sights have not been lost on keen Highlands photographer, Jeanette Newberry.
Not only has Jeanette shared a selection of her snaps with Southern Highlands readers she has also provided a visual boost for a Sydney-based friends.
"I have a friend in Sydney who is living in a retirement village but it also has residential care patients so the manager has asked them not to go out of the estate," she said.
"She is very bored and misses her walks in the park so I took about 12 photos of Bowral and sent them to her so she could feel as if she was coming on a walk with me.
"She was so happy, she loved the beautiful photos.
"Maybe other people can do the same and send their photos of Bowral to someone in lockdown or limited outside time."
