Matt Cupitt said he had written to council to replace the Braemar sign on the southern side of Aylmerton Rd.
"This new sign is four times larger than the old sign and it now blocks the traffic view heading north from Mittagong," he said.
"I sent the request to the council in April and I got an email back say that it would be rectified.
"I'm concerned that someone is going to be seriously hurt or worse."
A Wingecarribee Shire Council spokesperson said the old sign was replaced with a new sign that acknowledged the traditional land owners, the Gundungurra people.
"As soon as we installed the sign, we had a complaint," they said.
"We consulted with our traffic engineer for a new location 100 metres away and further from the road and it will be moved.
"The new sign is part of the roll-out that began several years ago.
"We've already installed several including locations at Balaclava, Willow Vale, Woodlands, Berrima, Medway, with Penrose, Wingello, Glenquarry, High Range, Paddys River."
