The elusive New South Wales player won first prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1497, drawn Tuesday August 11, 2020.
The ticket is unregistered, so officials from the Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the news and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
The winning entry was purchased at Bundanoon Newsagency, 7 Railway Avenue, Bundanoon.
Bundanoon Newsagency owner Melissa Mcauliffe said she was elated for her mystery winner.
"How exciting! This is great news," she said.
"Bundanoon is a small town, so this is incredible news.
"It's been a tough year, with all of the bushfires and now with COVID-19, so I really hope this makes a difference to our winner's life.
"We will be sharing this news with our customers, and hoping the winner comes in so we can share in the winning moment.
"We have been telling all of our customers we were due for another major win, and now we can say we have had another!"
The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy says she's on the hunt to find the mystery winner who just scored an incredible $200,000.
"We're urging all players who purchased a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot ticket from Bundanoon to check their tickets," she said.
"Just imagine the joy of realising the ticket in your hands is worth $200,000! Wouldn't that be a memorable Tuesday?
"Think about all of the exciting things you could do once your bank account balloons by $200,000.
"Some of our previous winners have used their prizes to buy new cars or boats, renovate their home or spoil themselves to a luxurious staycation.
"Make sure you check your ticket, which could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door or car glovebox, because the winner could be you!
"If you discover you are holding the winning ticket contact the Lott on 131868 to begin the process of claiming your prize."
