Early warning weather modelling suggests a low pressure system is expected to approach and cross NSW between Thursday and Saturday.
This is expected bring cold, wet and windy weather to the Southern Highlands.
The SES recommends several self-preparation measures including cleaning gutters, securing any outdoor items such as furniture and trampolines and moving vehicles undercover to avoid falling trees and branches.
