Proudly representing the red and white, sisters Sarah Low (11) and Rhianna Low (13) are both having their first ever hockey season with the Moss Vale Hockey club.
They didn't know any of the other kids in their team when they started, but they stuck together, made new friends and loved their first game with the club.
"It was a really good game and lots of fun," Sarah said.
"It was a lot of fun and a great new experience," Rhianna said.
COVID has kept the Southern Highland kids from normal everyday life like everyone else. So, it felt great for the sisters to get out there and enjoy a game in the outdoors.
"It felt good because I got to get out of the house," Sarah said.
"I enjoyed being a back because I like defending."
"I really liked being back because I like meeting new people," Rhianna said.
"I also love learning new skills throughout the game and seeing what I was good at."
Just enjoying the great game of hockey and learning as much as they can is as good as it gets for the sister duo at the moment.
"I'm playing hockey to learn something new and have fun," Sarah said.
"I'm out there to meet new friends, get outdoors and do something active," Rhianna said.
