The ReFrame Wellbeing packs include information and resources about staying well in tough times and connecting on the ReFrame online walk-in.
They also include craft, mindfulness and gardening activities to decrease stress and stimulate creativity and connections with the natural environment.
Activities will be linked to interactive creative sessions online that allow young people from all over the Highlands to come together.
The ReFrame team have delivered the wellbeing packs, along with handwritten letters, to remind young people that they are connected to the community despite the challenges of distance and virus restrictions limiting groups and activities.
ReFrame Community Engagement Officer Alice Richards said the wellbeing packs are one of many ways Community Links Wellbeing are reminding people of the importance of relationships and connection during a difficult year.
"Young people in regional areas are at an increased risk of the negative health impacts of isolation and loneliness," she said.
"Connection with community reminds us that we are not alone and that in tough times we can reach out and support each other.
ReFrame also run a weekly online art group co-facilitated by a youth champion Robyn Frank and Wintergarden GP Dr Shihani Thilliavasan with the same aim of providing community and connection.
Outreach is key to ReFrame's work engaging with young people in the Southern Highlands.
ReFrame Youth Engagement Workers offer home visits, school visits, outdoor activities and transport to free GP and counselling services.
"Anyone who is between the ages of 12 - 25 years old and lives in the Wollondilly and Wingecarribee shires is a ReFramer," Alice said.
"We would love to connect with young people and show them that distance doesn't have to be isolating.
"It's so important that our community comes together to wrap around and support our young people."
Any young person interested in joining in these ReFrame projects or virtual groups is encouraged to get in touch with ReFrame on 0455 104 104 or email reframe@comunitylinks.org.au.
ReFrame are encouraging young people to sign up to the Creative Space Creativity Packs being offered at the Creative Space Southern Highlands Facebook page.
