Giddy up because the Southern Highlands Christian School Equestrian Carnival is back, but there's a twist.
Equestrian Carnival event director Libby Sonter said the event will be run online this year due to COVID-19.
"The kids can send us a video and they will all be judged as though they were live and we will award prizes and ribbons via mail," Ms Sonter said.
Some of the categories in the competition include dressage, freestyle to music, harness dressage, cones and also novelty events for primary school students.
There will also be a dress up freestyle to music class.
Ms Sonter said this would be a good chance for students to see how much they improved in the past 12 months.
"With all the lack of competitions this year, we wanted to give the kids an opportunity to show us how much they have improved since last year," Ms Sonter said.
She also said she was hoping to see kindergarten to year 12 students from across the state take part.
"I encourage students to join in because they can do it at home," she said.
"They don't have to travel anywhere.
"They just have to wear their school uniform and have some fun."
Entries close Monday, August 31, and is open to all kids in school.
Students do not need to be equestrian Australia members.
