More than ever, students needed to be agile, independent, critical thinkers with creative and strong communication skills.
At Oxley they have a have a distinctive package of courses that lifts the lid off individual learning. It is a unique journey with skills-based programmes emphasising student voice and agency.
From Kindergarten to Year 12, students at Oxley College are encouraged to be intellectually curious, strong and independent thinkers. Oxley College believes all students can be stimulated towards active and positive learning by quality teaching.
This learning experience continues well beyond the classroom with broad and exciting pastoral and co-curricular programmes that encourage each student to develop a full range of personal, interpersonal and team skills.
Oxley Distinctives allow the development of all these skills which are now more important than ever. In this uncharted future, we will need higher-order thinking skills and Oxley students are well-equipped for this challenge.
Come and find out about Oxley Distinctives or Cornerstone-a discussion-based course about ethics and big ideas empowering students to have a strong voice. Learn about the fortnightly "Pin Oak" magazine which allows student voice and design input or Year 9's-Rites of Passage programme and much more.

Oxley has assisted me in developing who I am as a person and created a safe environment for me to be myself. I love all the opportunities like sport, Duke of Ed, performing arts, house competitions and the courses like Cornerstone, Rites of Passage and travelling to Botswana. Oxley is a kind school.
