Playing their first competition for the year, the club singles, the ladies got off on a roll.
After the first couple of rounds, the semi final saw Reta South and Susan Jackson play off in the top half of the draw, with Sue winning a close match 27/20.
While in the bottom half, Gail Fraser had a win against Alison Pryce 27/10.
In the final, Sue continued her good form getting off to a flying start to lead 21/7 after 18 ends.
Gail started cutting her lead back to draw even at 24/24 with one end to play.
On the last end, Gail was holding three shots when Sue's last bowl rolled in to win the match 25/24.
Congratulations to Sue on her first singles win.
