The new visiting hours are 10 am - 12noon and 5pm - 7pm. It was previously limited to 10 am and 11 pm.
Visitor limits are still in place with only one visitor per patient per day.
Special exemptions can only be granted by the General Manager or their executive on-call after hours. This will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
The visitor limits are necessary to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 and based on clinical advice from infectious disease experts.
Hospital staff will request identification and contact details from hospital visitors.
