Golden Oldies will continue to provide a safe haven for animals in need under the guidance of Becky Fallon and Candice May Alaska.

"All we are doing is gathering all the information that we can so we can continue on as per usual," she said,

"Golden Oldies will be continued on inspired by my mum but Candice and I are two different people to my mum and things will be different because of that.

"All in all we still have the same goals."

Becky said that there were still plenty of dogs in the care of Golden Oldies who were looking to find a permanent home.

"I can't give an exact number but there are quite a few scattered throughout the Southern Highlands, NSW and Victoria."

"We've only recently started taking animals in again because we had so much stuff to catch up on," she said.

Becky also said that all donations for Golden Oldies would be welcomed.

"We are a non for profit charity, not funded by the government at all," she said.

"We rely on the generosity of the public to help us reach our goal of looking after these animals.

"Even if we can't find a use, we still want to help out other rescues that need stuff as well.

"We'd also like to call out for people who are interested in fostering dogs.

"If anybody would like to have a go fostering an animal they should get in contact with us."
