The Hume Police District 'Have Your Say' campaign aims to engage and help out the community.
Inspector Alison Brennan said they were "trying to drill down on community issues".
The inspector said so far they had only received one message.
Inspector Brennan said some people felt they couldn't ring up the police. She urged residents to have their say online or to call the police station.
"No problem is too small," Inspector Brennan said.
"We still want to hear from the community.
"Innovative ideas can come from unexpected places."
The Hume officer said she hoped to make it a regular campaign.
"Everything that is a problem to the community is a problem to the police," Inspector Brennan said.
"You might even have an operation named after you."
To have your say head to the Hume Police District Facebook page and comment on the post, send a private message to their inbox or contact Inspector Brennan on 4823 0310.
