Mental tried to open earlier this year but was unable to as a result of COVID.
It will officially open its doors on Saturday, July 18.
Mental director Sergei Netchaef said they aimed to take a "broad approach to the arts".
While Mental has been unable to open to the public, it has still been able to share plenty of artistic talent with the community.
A social distance gallery has been on display- a digital screen with different artists exhibiting their work.
Mr Netchaef said this would continue for awhile.
As well as being a space for emerging and established artists to hone and exhibit their craft, Mr Netchaef said they would also run workshops and a residency programs.
"It's an intimate approach to the experience of the arts. We're an innovative platform in a regional context," he said.
A range of arts will benefit from the new space with support for a range of arts-related activities- visual art, music, digital content, performance, writing and design.
"It's just about being inclusive across the whole community."
The space will also allow young artists to connect with and learn from more experienced artists.
Mr Netchaef said they had connections with "practicing professionals" which would create a "unique opportunity" for emerging artists to seek support and guidance while honing their craft.
"In keeping with all recommended health advice in NSW, Mental will be restricting the amount of people allowed in the space at one time. Masks, hand sanitizer, visual distance markings and all recommended precautions are being followed so we may all stay safe."
Mental is located at Shop 2, 347 Bong Bong Street, Bowral. The opening will run from 10am until 6pm.
