From Saturday, March 21 to Wednesday July 2 has been a long wait for bowlers, but this coming Wednesday, July 2 competitive bowls will return to Bowral Bowling Club.
Social bowls will return and the format will be 21 ends, mufti dress and green fees at $12 along with the usual raffle.

Bowls secretary, Dan Ticehurst has also stated that on Saturday's bowls uniforms to be used, and normal green fees. Plus the jack pot will come back into play.
All starting times will be at 1pm.
Personally I was shocked that we have been able to start back so early, as the predicted time frame was September 1.
But, we must remember, coming into the colder weather we have to take all warnings on social distancing and note to abide by the health warnings.
Club chairman, Stephen Della is looking forward to the bowlers getting back on the green, but stated we must take the lead of the health authorities and don't become to complacent.
