His victories in Toulouse, Nimes and Paris solidified the successful Tour de France for Lotto Soudal along with teammate, Thomas De Gendt's stage to eight Saint-Étienne victory.
The 2020 Lotto Soudal team will have Caleb Ewan, Thomas de Gendt, Philippe Gilbert and John Degenkolb as part of their eight-rider squad for the iconic cycling race.
The signing of Gilbert and Degenkolb gives the team further options for attacks and tougher sprints.
Also in the roster named by team manager John Lelangue are: Tim Wellens, Ewan's trusted lead-out men Jasper De Buyst and Roger Kluge, and 24-year-old Steff Cras.
Tomasz Marczynski and Frederik Frison are on the reserve list.
The Tour de France was set to begin in Nice on Saturday, June 29 with the Grand Départ, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tour has been rescheduled for August 29-September 20.
Ewan has also been confirmed to also ride the Giro d'Italia in October.
