We recently caught up with artists from Goulburn and the Southern Highlands on how they are connecting with the audiences during this period.
'Stories From The Studio', a project initiated by Southern Tablelands Arts (STA), shares the journey of the artists and what they have been working on during this period.
"We would have a bit of a chat with the artists regarding what projects are keeping them busy and what they have been able to achieve."
The project gives us a sneak peek into the current work of Southern Highlands photographer Ashley Mackevicius.
Mackevicius has been a commercial and fine arts photographer for 40 years and has been living in Moss Vale.
His current project captures a slice of local history by documenting the soon to be redeveloped abandoned 'Our Lady of the Sacred Heart' convent school in Bowral.
"I have always loved old buildings and their rich history," Mackevicius said.
Meanwhile, Goulburn's Lieder Theatre is waiting for restrictions to ease to start entertaining safely again.
Director Chrisjohn Hancock talked about how George Orwell classic 1984 was ready to premier when COVID-19 restrictions were put in place.
The Lieder Theatre is running play readings every week presently.
The Sydney Puppet Theatre is planning a performance by artists and puppeteers Sue Wallace and Steve Coupe.
"A Package for Granny" show will feature at ImaginArta Puppet Centre in Sutton Forest soon.
