As Covid-19 restrictions begin to ease across the state, Highlands community groups are getting back into the swing of things.

Farmer's market
The On the Grow Railway Street Farmers Market continues to provide a place to source healthy, fresh food. Located on the corner of Railway Avenue and Spring Street in Moss Vale, the markets are open from 3pm every Thursday afternoon.
Mittagong Markets
The next Mittagong Markets will be held on Saturday, July 18. Held on the third and fifth Saturday of each month at the Uniting Church Grounds, corner of Alice and Albert Street Mittagong. The markets will run from 8am until 2pm.
Bundanoon Makers Market
The new look Bundanoon Makers Market is held on the fist and third Sunday of every month (except January). The next one will be Sunday, July 19. It includes sewers, knitters, woodworkers, photographers, leatherwork and silver jewellery plus all you need for meals during the week with fresh fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread, Lebanese take home meals, hot Indian dishes, Japanese pancakes, Honey and Eggs plus an assortment of cakes and pies. Held at 14 Church St, Bundanoon, the market will run from 8.30am until 2pm.
Bushwalkers
With some indoor activities still limited, now's a great time to get outdoors and enjoy some of the spectacular scenery the region has to offer. Southern Highlands Bushwalkers are still offering a range of walks. The next walk will take place on Sunday, July 19 with the three peaks, two falls and a coal mine walk. Walkers will enjoy Mt. Alexandra, Beasleys's Lookout and and unnamed Mountain behind golf course. Weeping Falls and 60' Falls will also be part of the walk plus a short look in an old coal mine. Some off track and multiple creek crossings with an optional climb to another tunnel. The walk will be 13km with some shortcuts. Contact David M on 0431 858 611 to book a spot. Soul Time
This month's Soul Time event will be held via zoom on Sunday, July 19 at 7pm. Soul Time provides an opportunity to enjoy a tranquil environment, for reflection on inspiring themes and common threads linking us together. It features live music, audio-visual pieces and readings from various faiths. Soul Time's purpose is to inspire us to transform our lives, our neighbourhoods and communities, with actions promoting unity and the betterment of society. Soul Time is a free community service initiative, open to all, provided by the Baha'i community of Wingecarribee.

Parkinson's support
The monthly meetings continue to be postponed. Coffee and chat (under social distancing and sanitising rules) are on Saturday mornings 9.30am-10.30am at Bradman Museum (order at the cafe but seating is in the museum). For further information contact Mrs Dympna Irwin 4869 5252.
Vocal Muster
Wingecarribee Vocal Muster has remained busy over the past couple of months and has something special planned. It will hold a virtual concert on July 18 with 10 students performing a few songs each. Community pantry
The St Stephen's Anglican Church in Mittagong's popular morning tea has returned. Held on a Friday morning, this is supported with donations of cakes and pastries from Gumnut Patisserie, Bakers' Delight and the Chelsea Bakery in Mittagong. The morning tea is held each Friday from 10am until midday.
Bowral Public School markets
The Bowral Public School Market have been temporally relocated to the Bowral Bowling Club this month. The markets on July 11 and 25 will run from 9am until 1pm. This will be a shop and go market with social distancing in place. Some of the stalls will include: Patio Plants, Dean's Orchids, John's Bulbs and Roots and Leaves, Billy Chan, Pramila with her Indian Food and Dee's Flavours of Malaysia for hot takeaway food, Hill's Potato Farm, Black Hen Kitchen (baked goods, cakes, and other tempting sweets and savouries), The Cake Tin Girls from Arthur's, Bulwarra Bees and Chapos Honey, Sonoma Woodfired Bread, Denmar Olives, Veggie King's Fresh Produce, Anthony's Sauces, Lame Duck Foods, Keilty's Irish Sauces, Araucana Organic Rosehip Oil, Lindner's Socks from Crookwell and The Heather Hatter.
Girl Guides
The Moss Vale branch of Girl Guides is hoping to return in the next school term. Junior guides (ages 6-10) will run on Tuesday evenings from 5-7pm and the senior guides (ages 10-14) will run on Friday afternoons from 4-6pm. Girl Guides is located in Donkin Avenue, Moss Vale.
