Hosting an exclusive preview of the transformative exhibition on June 6, The SHAC invites art lovers and locals to enjoy a wonderful exploration of the spaces, meeting the featured artists and enjoying the exhibition over a glass of local bubbles.
"When you wake up and actually see the world instead of just looking at it with the blindness of inattention, colours are brighter, lines are sharper, images are clearer. Art makes us see again," exhibition curator Lily Cummins said.

"We all have keenly felt, recently, that living has to be about more than just surviving."
As we emerge from this period of isolation, Lily asks people, through the exhibition "how does art make you feel, and what room have you made for it?"
The Awaken exhibition features work from 11 of the resident artists of The SHAC at Robertson.
Lily's vision to bring this exhibition together was born from the desire to represent a way in which the world could emerge and evolve out of the pandemic, as well as what this period of isolation had meant to the artists.
Awaken will run from June 6 to July 13.
To reserve your space, go to www.trybooking.com and search "Awaken".
Time intervals are available from 2pm until 5pm. Attendance is complimentary, but reservations are essential.

The SHAC is a not-for-profit organisation, run completely by a team of passionate volunteers who believe in the value of art for the well-being and vibrancy of the community.
Housed in Robertson's historic potato-packing shed, once home to Ben Quilty's studio, The SHAC has 16 artists working under one roof in converted rustic studios and a SoHo style loft.
The SHAC also comprises a major street-front gallery; an emerging artist space; a dedicated workshop room; growing bespoke retail outlets, and now, the home of Moonacres' Cooking School.
