They would normally attend Bowral High School, but have been learning from home since school expectations changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cindy said her sons would be returning to school as required when the staged program came into play from may 11.
She said her decision had been prompted by a a increasing lack of motivation from her boys.
"They miss their friends and the face-to-face teaching, and clarification of their work and a routine is important," she said.
Cindy said the school environment was helpful for her boys to be more motivated and to better understand topics.
"And of course the social side is important," she said.
However, she there were benefits to having her boys at home.
"They've had time to learn more life skills. They have been cooking, gardening, walking the dog, learning new online communication, cleaning and helping me do the family budget," she said.
"One of the best things is them better understanding the costs of running a household that we normally wouldn't have the chance to share."
Cindy said that although she was looking forward to a little more normality, she was worried about the virus spreading further.
"Kids don't keep the space for social distancing and I can not see how they could in classrooms and hallways etc," she said.
"I really want this to work so we can return to normal.
"Although I am looking forward to the kids going back to school, I have enjoyed this "reset" and time with them.
"I know now that they are a little more prepared for life outside of living at home. Many things we have started doing whilst at home we will continue and grow."
