A man reported missing from the Southern Highlands has been located safe and well today (May 6).

The 69-year-old man was last seen leaving his home on Church Road at Moss Vale about 2pm yesterday (May 5), and was reported missing to officers from The Hume Police District.

Following inquiries, the man was located walking along the M7 at Windsor about 9am today.
He was taken to Castle Hill Police Station where he will be assessed as a precaution. He will be reunited with his family.
