Tulip Time is synonymous with the Southern Highlands but given the uncertainty of future gatherings we had little choice but to pare back our annual floral festival.

While this year's Tulip Time won't be cut altogether it will be a significantly smaller affair than in recent years.
Only a minimum number of flower beds will be planted in Corbett Gardens and all public events will be removed from the program.
Tours guides and coach operators will all be notified.
When deciding to cut back on this year's celebrations we considered numerous factors including the social and economic benefits to our Shire but ultimately agreed the safety of patrons was of paramount importance.
While we're all disappointed that this year's Tulip Time will be much smaller, the team at Destination Southern Highlands assures me that they've already turned their attention to our 2021 celebrations which they plan, on all things being equal, to be their biggest and best yet!

This Sunday is Mothers' Day and much like Easter only weeks ago, this year's celebrations will be very different from previous years.
We wish all our Shire's mothers a wonderful, and hopefully restful, weekend.
