A Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) spokeswoman said Moss Vale received average winds of 50 to 60km/h with gusts of 80 to 90km/h from mid morning to early afternoon on Saturday, April 11.

"The Southern Highlands could be in for some winds over the next few days but only light winds," she said.
The State Emergency Service (SES) Wingecarribee unit had 14 jobs on Saturday for storm-related damage.
The jobs majority were in Bowral, with seven call-outs in total.
The other jobs were scattered across Mittagong, Colo Vale, High Range, Hill Top, Welby and Yerrinbool.
Crews responded to a range of incidents including fallen tree branches on cars, roads and houses.
An SES spokeswoman said the jobs were completed by crews quickly.
