The deadline has been extended until close of business on Thursday, April 30.
Under the scheme, council will distribute up to $120,000 to assist local not-for-profit organisations across the shire.

The scheme aims to encourage and increase participation and support initiatives that promote partnerships within the community.
Grants and donations can be sought to fund programs, equipment or capital works which aim to establish, improve or enhance cultural, sporting, welfare, health promotion, community development or leisure services.
Returning for this year is the allocation of $10,000 for environmental and sustainable specific programs funded via council's environment levy.
These grants are specifically intended for projects that promote or support sustainable living practices and ideas within community groups, schools and learning centres.
Local sports clubs, churches, charities, schools and childhood education centres, choirs, Scouts, Guides, community and hobby groups were just some of the organisations to receive funding last year.
Under the scheme three types of funding are available, community assistance scheme donations up to $600,
Community Assistance Scheme Grants up to $7000 and Environment and Sustainability Grants up to $2000.
All applications must be submitted online. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
