The NSW Government has expanded its Aurora College program to more than 600 public schools across the state.
Goulburn MP Wendy Tuckerman said the new program "is a game changer" for the region's students, given that in the past, some students' nearest opportunity class could be hundreds of kilometres away.

"With the expansion of Aurora College, students and families from Avoca to Windellama and will no longer have to decide between where they live and access to educational opportunities," Mrs Tuckerman said.
"Aurora College is an incredible initiative that, over the past two years in its pilot stage, has provided access to resources that have never been available before for students in regional and remote areas.
"With the expansion of Aurora College, high potential and gifted students will now have the chance to attend purpose designed courses on a broad range of subjects."
Education minister Sarah Mitchell said the expansion of the Aurora College program was "a no-brainer" following its successful two year trial.
"Having staff based centrally allows local students to connect to classes digitally, allowing them to interact with the teacher and other classmates from across the state," Ms Mitchell said.
"Ensuring students in regional and remote NSW receive the same educational opportunities as their metro peers is a priority for me as the Minister for Education, a regional politician and a mother."
