Lawn bowls has ground to a halt owing to the increase in the dreaded disease of coronavirus.
This is the latest blow to sports people and social gathering.
But this is nothing compared to the suffering of people who have had to be stood down from work.
Bowls will be cancelled until the government makes a decision when clubs can open again.
The health warning that has been put out means we are in for the long haul.
According to the government we could be looking to spring before before any improvement.
The health instruction put in place particularly no sport will be a bitter pill to swallow.
We all need to play our part with hygiene. Bowls NSW has made the following announcement.
Please be advised that as from 4.00pm, March 24 the Bowls NSW head office will be shut down.
All staff have been advised that they are to take all leave entitlements until they are exhausted.
Bowlers and community stay safe and god bless.
