Bushfires, flooding and a global COVID-19 pandemic have come one after another.

But amid the gloom there is beauty as one keen Highlander has noted.
Keen snapper Norelle Dixon was excited to share this vision of new life amid an area recently ravaged by bushfires.
She said the beautiful sight was captured while bushwalk in a state forest near Bundanoon.
"At last! Something wonderful and uplifting," she said.
"These grass trees are sprouting in a damaged cathedral of pine and eucalypt."
